One little fact-check on "Republic has never had a player be even top 5 in the league in goals scored." At least according to FotMob, Russ's 17 in 2023 tied him for 5th that year.
You could tell within 20 minutes both teams were looking to PK’s. Both teams were too pragmatic. As a long time STH my only real positive this season was Blake Willey. What an improvement from last season. He lost whatever deer in the headlights he had, into an engine. The kid ran his socks off this season. The team needs to build the midfield around him and get younger.
