Good analytical article. My problem with our current performances is due to lineups. It feels like he consistently puts in 9 defensive minded players on the pitch with 2 offensive minded players. So the defensive minded players create chances but there are not enough players who can actually score the ball. So, getting a scorer would be great. However, I would argue a change in tactics/formation/type of players on the pitch might lead to better finishing. Yes, we might give up more goals, but I would rather win/lose 3-2 than win/lose 1-0. At least the games would be more entertaining.
I agree on the more entertaining games! I also agree on the players - it feels like, including the lone striker, we need the CAM and both wingers to be playing much more as goal scorers rather than chance creators, and we don't do that. I think part of it is we don't have the personal for it, which is where it does come back to Collins

Great breakdown, thanks!
