Eight of those goals came as a substitute, setting a league mark and underscoring his impact off the bench. He also contributed three assists and earned three Team of the Week selections while helping Hartford secure the first trophy in club history.
Professional Journey
Originally selected 86th overall in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft by Houston Dynamo FC, Edwards began his professional career with Rio Grande Valley FC, where he recorded six goals and two assists across 25 appearances. He later moved to Houston Dynamo 2, adding five goals and two assists in 13 matches during the 2022 season.
Before turning professional, Edwards featured for Brazos Valley Cavalry FC in 2019, finishing as a co–Golden Boot winner with 14 goals.
Internationally, he has been a regular contributor for the St. Vincent and the Grenadines National Football Team, earning over 30 caps and scoring six goals.
What He Brings to Sacramento
Standing at 6’1” and weighing 185 pounds, Edwards offers Republic FC a blend of size, efficiency, and proven finishing within the league. His 2025 output addresses a clear need for consistent goal production as Sacramento prepares for the 2026 season.
