For months—maybe even years if you measure time the way Republic FC plays out some of their more patient build-ups—you’ve asked us the same question:

“When is Quail City dropping merch?”

Well, congratulations. It’s here.

Say hello to the Quail City Exchange, our brand-new merch store, born from the overwhelming demand that began the moment we unveiled our refreshed branding earlier this season. (We did notice the enthusiastic responses. And the not-so-subtle “I’d buy this on a hoodie?” hints. All of them.)

But let’s be clear about something, this isn’t just merch for the sake of merch.

This shop helps fund more of the thing you actually come here for.

Sales from the Quail City Exchange directly support our ability to expand coverage—of Republic FC, of the USL Championship, of USL’s brand-new Division One league, and even every once in a while of whatever chaos the league office cooks up next.

As you’ll see this coming season, this means:

• More features

• More visuals

• More interviews

• More of the independent, local, unapologetically Quail-brained coverage that got us here in the first place

And yes, before you ask, the iconic Quail on Ball stays.

We may refresh the branding, sharpen the look, and polish the edges, but the bird lives forever.
